Our first ever Children’s Author Feature here at Kids Fun Channel is a great one. We’ve reviewed just a ton of Kimberley Kleczka’s books on our site and we’ve always received positive feedback about her books.
Let me start off telling you a bit about Kimberley, as I’ve spoken with her quite a bit over the past few months. What I’ve learned is that she’s an incredibly warm individual who cares about what she does. She treats everyone with respect and really is just a good-hearted compassionate individual. I don’t think she could hurt a fly, although I’ve never witnessed a mosquito attacking her.
Now, what’s really important about Kimberley is how she grew up. She was born in the UK and moved to Africa at a very young age. She’s lived in the US, New Zealand, and in many places in Europe as well. She’s lived all over the world and so she’s learned firsthand what the world can offer your child. And Kimberley enjoys being around different cultures and learning first hand about their traditions and way of life.
What she’s done with her series of books is created a word, and therefore an idea. That word is “Koolamundo”, which she says means “it’s a Kool World”. Every book I’ve read of hers tells a story that explores the different ways that people live and how everyone is different (and that’s a good thing). She’s the first author we’ve met with such a clear vision of what she’s telling youth today, and that’s why she’s our first Author Feature here!
Now, if you’re wanting to skip the rest of this and get to her Amazon Author Page…go ahead! If you want to hear a little more, well we’ll give you her full book listing and a little more information.
Now then, here are the latest book reviews we’ve done for Kimberley:
- Klara The Cow Who Knows How to Bow
- Alook’s Dance in France
- Luna & Alook’s Funny Food Book
- Visit Alook’s Cool Place In Outer Space
Now, that’s not to say that we’ve reviewed each and every one of this author’s books; we haven’t. What’s amazing (and very in tune with Kimberley’s goal of teaching all about the world) is that she’s produced multiple language versions of each book. And she continues to add different languages to each book. If anyone would like a new language, please let her know. At the end of this article, I’m going to give a full book listing so if you’re looking for the Deutsche version of Klara The Cow, then you’ll be able to find it!
What I think is probably the best part of all of Kimberley’s books is what’s included. What you’re buying isn’t a simple book, as Kimberley includes videos, activities, audiobooks, and more with each one of her books. She delivers a true package of edutainment. What’s more, she will be bringing out a Klara The Cow puppet, backpack and key ring in 2017. She’s just put out a Christmas video, and is really gaining a following on social media as well as. Want to follow her?
Oh, and if you like extras, I’d suggest you actually head over to the Koolamundo website itself. Kimberley has developed quite the site with free books, sing-alongs, quotes, and of course all of her (paid) books. There’s even an app that’s part of the Klara The Cow book!
Now then, enough of my ranting on. Let’s give you all of Kimberley’s books and let you get on to purchasing one. Without any further adieu:
