I hadn’t heard much about wogi and their gift card service until very recently. I have to say that I immediately liked the idea for my friends and family and this is especially true for those friends and/or family that live far away. It also holds true when I’m really stumped for a gift for one of my friends with a baby or toddler. Wogi is a bit of a rarity in this market as it’s such a well laid-out website. In turn, this makes it very easy to buy gift cards from multiple stores.
Now, being that we’re a blog for parents of toddlers this review will focus on the Mother and Child section of Wogi’s website. For those of you that have other types of people to focus on, there are many sections, including Apparel, Health & Beauty, Restaurants, Outdoors, and much more!
I’m going to assume for the moment that you can make your way over to www.wogi.sg and get over to the categories section. From there you can select the Mother & Child category and you’ll instantly see all of the different vendors you can purchase a gift card from. You’re also able to filter the list of vendors available by selecting who you’re purchasing for, the occasion (ie. Christmas, etc.), price, and whether or not you want the receiver to purchase in store or online.
Once you’ve narrowed down the results to your liking, you can go ahead and pick from one of their Wogi’s great partner stores. From there you just go ahead and start the purchase process, which is simple and easy. If there’s anything within this process that I can say is important, it’s that you check the Redeem Instructions and Terms & FAQs under the store you’re looking to purchase from. I did find one that specifically stated stores only in Singapore, so you’d really want to pay attention to that if you didn’t live there!
Some of my favorites in the Mother & Child category were Right Brain Babies, Pupsik Studio, and Lamkins. All of those had solid online stores and were capable of sending packages anywhere in the world. Pupsik carried my favorite Aden and Anais Bamboo Swaddling blankets that my little toddler still runs around with at the ripe old age of 3. He truly loves them and if I can send that same kind of gift to my friends and family with a gift card from Wogi, why wouldn’t I do that? I also will save the shipping personally if I just send an online gift card, so there’s that.
All in all, I’d say that this is a great idea for gifts. The purchasing process is easy and the prices in the stores seem reasonable. Remember, a gift card makes sure everybody gets just what they want and if you remember to check the Terms and Conditions of each store before you purchase, you simply can’t go wrong with Wogi.
